𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗳𝘂𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝟭𝟱𝗣𝗣𝗠 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 & 𝗢𝗪𝗦 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗔𝘁 Suez Anchorage, Egypt

A major marine environmental compliance project was successfully completed at Suez Anchorage, involving the retrofit of a 15PPM Monitoring System and restoration of the vessel’s Oily Water Separator (OWS), which had become fully non-operational. The vessel had been unable to discharge bilge water due to the complete failure of both the OWS and the 15PPM monitoring system. The issue had been raised by Class and required immediate rectification within a short notice period to maintain compliance and vessel operations. 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁 𝗢𝗳 𝟭𝟱𝗣𝗣𝗠 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗼𝗿 The existing 15PPM monitor was fully non-operational and required urgent replacement. It was successfully retrofitted with the SMART BILGE system from Rivertrace. The scope included: ✔️ Complete installation ✔️ System integration ✔️ Testing and commissioning ✔️ Operational verification ✔️ Compliance checks The system was restored to full working condition, enabling the vessel to resume proper bilge discharge operations. 𝗢𝗪𝗦 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗣𝗵𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱-𝗢𝘂𝘁 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 The OWS control PCB belonged to a phased-out model no longer supported by the original maker, creating an additional challenge during the project. Despite the limited availability, suitable used spares were sourced within a short lead time. Through efficient troubleshooting and replacement, the entire OWS system was successfully restored back to operation. This allowed the vessel to regain full environmental system functionality without extended downtime. 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗪𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 & 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 All functions were thoroughly tested and verified in the presence of Class, including: ⚙️ Operational Functions ⚙️ Monitoring Performance ⚙️ Alarm Conditions ⚙️ Safety Interlocks ⚙️ Calibration Checks ⚙️ Full System Performance Every aspect was validated to ensure full compliance with marine environmental regulations before handing the system back into service.
